Last night we at Short attended the launch of Naomi Schillinger’s Veg Street – and what a treat it was. Not only were we surrounded by great company, with everyone eager to take a look at a finished copy of the book, but the residents of Naomi’s North London street had prepared a wonderful spread of cakes and goodies. The spinach pie was a real delight – made using spinach grown on ‘Veg Street’ itself!
